IIFT Diploma In Trading

Course Description

Trading is not difficult when you have the right education and knowledge. At IIFT, we make the learning process a simple and easy to digest, in-class experience. Are you a recent graduate looking to add to your skillset? Maybe you are an experienced professional looking to make money from the markets? No matter what level you are at, this trading course will give you the foundations needed to start your financial markets journey.

We start by introducing you to terminology and principles in trading, paying particular attention to ensuring each student has a fundamental grasp of the learnings before moving on. Peter Brown, Director of Education, leads the course. With Peter’s knowledge and reputation, which includes several appearances on RTE and TV3 in recent years, you really are learning from an industry leader who has seen it all.

Our Diploma in Financial Trading will give you a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of trading through classroom education and practical trading experience. Students will also experience live trading and gain an insight into the psychology of trading and patience.

We cover 25+ topics in our course with 12 hours classroom learning, live trading support and practical experience ensuring you leave our course with a deep understanding of trading and the markets. Within this, we have a topic on the Psychology of Trading, which we feel is one of the most valuable topics on the course.

This, one of its kind, course, has 3 major strands to it.

  1. In Class Education – given by experienced traders and technicians – you will learn the skills, disciplines and practices which professional traders employ to make money in the Financial Markets.
  2. Mentoring – you will be assisted along your Financial Markets Journey by Colin Gregan (has 15 years’ experience day trading stock market indices) and by Niall O’Connor our Charting/Technical Analysis wizard. They will be available on a daily basis to assist you.
